Why We Rebuilt CreatePositive — and What This Moment Asks of Women Who Care

February 12, 2026

There was a period when CreatePositive went quiet.

Not because we ran out of ideas.

Not because the work stopped mattering.

But because life intervened — decisively — and asked us to pause.

Georgie and I found each other at a liminal point in our professional lives. We had worked closely together on a UK-approved Senior Mental Health Lead programme for schools. The programme was successful — but what stayed with us even more was how we worked together: with trust, warmth, honesty, and a shared sense of responsibility for the people we served.

Then things shifted.

Georgie and her organisation went separate ways. I experienced a similar rupture with my company partners, followed shortly by a sports accident that forced me into a full stop. Work paused. Plans paused. Certainty paused.

We both struggled.

What began as simple Zoom coffee calls turned into something deeper: honest conversations about failure and regret, responsibility and values, and how easy it is — especially for driven women — to lose balance entirely while still “functioning” on the outside.

Those conversations mattered.

They gave direction.

They gave courage.

From prevention to healing — and back again

For me, those conversations led to a clear decision. After many years working in wellbeing prevention and education, I chose to step fully into clinical training — beginning psychotherapy work with young people and adults. It was a move from prevention into healing.

For Georgie, it meant claiming her path as a leadership coach for purpose-driven organisations — on her own terms, aligned with her values.

Both were bold decisions. Both were right.

And still, something was missing.

What we had not anticipated was just how powerful those shared reflective spaces between us had been — and how rare they are for women in leadership, education, therapy, and other giving professions.

Spaces not to perform.

Not to fix.

Not to hold everything together for others.

But to recover.

To think clearly again.

To reconnect with purpose before the next step.

Rebuilding CreatePositive

That insight became a turning point.

We realised that CreatePositive needed to reflect who we are now — and what these times are truly asking of women who care deeply about their work and their impact.

Today, CreatePositive supports women in reclaiming their voice, wellbeing, and inner strength — so they can lead with care, clarity, courage, and integrity in times of burnout, polarisation, and constant change.

We do this by creating intentional spaces for recovery and growth:

These are not “quick fixes” or self-care add-ons. They are spaces to pause, reflect, and realign — so that leadership, care, and contribution become sustainable again.

What’s next

If you know us, you know this: we don’t tend to play small.

We are opening this new chapter with a bold invitation — a carefully crafted Himalayan trekking journey for 20 courageous women in autumn 2026, walking to high altitude and deep perspective.

Alongside this, our first Growth Circle launches in spring, followed by urban recovery days in Berlin and London. And sometimes, the simplest entry point is just an online coffee conversation — a space to share your story with someone who understands.

Wherever you meet us — or even if you simply wish to reconnect — we would love to hear from you.

With warmth, conviction, and a smile,

Elke & Georgie
