On female leadership, courage, and the power of gathering
We cannot ignore what is currently happening in the world around us. Giving professions are deeply affected by the wider geopolitical climate. The rule of the strongest appears to have taken hold once again—largely driven by male-dominated power structures that fuel division, separation, and even war.
The trickle-down effect is real: reduced funding for social causes, gender equality, and democratic processes; fear-based thinking; growing political polarisation within teams, organisations, and families; and sustainability—personal and global—pushed to the margins.
In times like these, it is tempting to ask: Can we afford wellbeing?
Or is it time to stand up and fight for what is right—especially for women, who so often continue to hold everything together quietly in the background?
We believe both are true.
This is not the time to retreat into our homes or organisations and carry on with business as usual. This is the time to become louder, clearer, and more courageous. And at the same time, this is not the time to do it alone and nor do it on an empty tank.
This is the time to support each other. To pool our strength, wisdom, and talents. To form a counterbalance to hate, ego-driven action, greed, and “me-first” solutions. While this may feel daunting, we should never underestimate the power of positive experiences within our own circles of influence.

This is why we created our Manifesto. It began as a beacon for ourselves—to keep us aligned in our work at CreatePositive as we move into 2026. But as we reflected on it, we realised it needed to be shared.

Create Positive Manifesto 2026
For centuries, women cultivated qualities essential for connection and progress: care, compassion, relational intelligence, clarity, perservearance and moral courage. These traits have long believed to be of minor relevance for solving “real world problems”. We believe it is time to bring them forward more visibly and more boldly into our professional lives, leadership roles, and wider communities.
At CreatePositive, we believe deeply in the fundamental goodness of human beings. This belief is unshakeable, even when that goodness often feels obscured. We are convinced that women and others who live these realities, hold a key to re-anchoring essential human qualities like care, compassion, relational intelligence, clarity, perseverance and moral courage in the world.
This begins with ourselves. It requires honest reflection on the inner mindsets that keep us “second best”. It calls us to step up and step forward—by restoring balance between giving and receiving, investing in our own wellbeing, building courage to challenge what is wrong, by actively nurturing what is right. It also starts with connection: gathering and growing with like-minded women who are driven to create meaningful change within their own spheres of influence. This is what we stand for.
